NEW YEAR, NEW IDEAS AT SULLY

The challenges of 2020 forced consumers and businesses alike to adapt plans and adjust expectations as agility, cooperation and collaboration became key for success. At Sully, we plan to continue championing these values as we build into 2021 with our clients and partners. Our vision, to make your ideas a reality, has never felt more relevant, as many brands and businesses are entering the new year with new and innovative product concepts.

Whether you are an established retail giant, or a disruptive new start-up brand, Sully has the tools to take your product offering to the next level. We are excited to share an inside-look on just how we did this  for our friends at Scout Canning, with the launch of their new non-food product line, Scout Market Goods.

Championing Collaboration

Our process prioritizes collaboration with our partners to ensure we are providing meaningful product solutions. Our network of trusted factories and vendor partners allows us to strategize for the most effective sourcing, production, and packaging that is appropriate for our clients needs. This process, paired with our engaged team of product managers and designers creates a full service solution for brands with a passion to innovate and grow.

Scout Canning: A Case Study

Scout Canning approached us in spring of 2020 to develop a line of ‘Seacuterie’ serve tools. The Canadian craft cannery has been making waves in the sustainable seafood category and felt it was time to expand into a lifestyle offering that could enhance the experience of their core product line for their customers.

“Seacuterie products felt like a natural product expansion for us. We have been building a narrative around the ‘Seacuterie’ experience in our marketing and social media communications, so offering our customers the tools they need to style, spread and serve alongside our food products made sense. We had little experience working with overseas non-food vendors, but our design team at Brandsicle Inc assured us that Sully was the right partner for a project of this size, and they did not disappoint.”

The Scout Market Goods introductory line features a 4 piece serve set, with anti-microbial acacia wood board and 3 speckled ceramic bowls - designed to perfectly hold one can of the craft seafood products Scout Canning has become known for. We worked with the factories to produce exclusive molds, embossing the Scout logo for additional brand recognition. To complete the experience we also developed a 4 piece tools set, which features a rubber-wood engraved ‘shucker’, a hard-to-come by tool that is essential for any shellfish preparation.

“Sully worked with us to ensure that all our product materials and packaging were eco-friendly, recyclable and contained zero plastics - that is a pillar of the Scout brand.

If you have a product idea or concept and aren’t sure where to start, start with Sully.”
